Development and Testing Version
Effective date: July 27, 2026
Last updated: July 27, 2026
1. About This Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Careomeus LLC (“Careomeus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the current development and testing version of Coremeus Agile Delivery Intelligence for Jira (“Coremeus” or the “App”).
Coremeus is currently a development-stage Atlassian Forge application used for internal testing and controlled evaluation. This notice applies only to the current Forge-based development build and may be updated as the App’s features, storage, integrations, deployment model, or commercial availability change.
2. Information Coremeus Processes
Coremeus may process Jira information that the signed-in user is already permitted to access through Atlassian, including:
- Jira work item keys, titles, descriptions, types, statuses, priorities, and selected fields
- Work item hierarchy, links, and related structural information
- Search terms entered into the Coremeus Jira issue search
- Source, retrieval, provenance, and coverage information used to explain where displayed information came from
- Technical request and error information needed to operate and troubleshoot the App
Coremeus accesses Jira information on behalf of the signed-in user and is subject to that user’s existing Jira permissions.
3. Information Coremeus Does Not Currently Store Externally
In the current development build:
- Coremeus does not send Jira content to an external database or third-party service.
- Coremeus does not use external analytics services.
- Coremeus does not use external artificial intelligence services.
- Coremeus does not maintain a separate Careomeus-hosted copy of Jira work items.
- Coremeus does not intentionally store the literal text of Jira issue searches in application audit records or logs.
- Coremeus does not sell personal information.
The App may store limited interface preferences in the user’s browser, such as presentation or workspace settings. These preferences remain on the user’s device and are not used to identify the user for advertising or profiling.
4. How Information Is Used
Coremeus uses information only as needed to:
- Search for Jira work items the user is permitted to view
- Retrieve and display selected Jira work items
- Present source provenance, coverage, and audit information
- Support visual interpretation of Jira-managed work
- Diagnose errors, protect permissions, and improve the reliability of the App
- Test and evaluate Coremeus during development
Coremeus is designed to preserve Jira as the authoritative system of record. It does not independently change Jira work items, workflows, permissions, or project configuration in the current development build.
5. Atlassian and Jira
Coremeus runs on Atlassian Forge and interacts with Jira through Atlassian-provided APIs.
Atlassian independently processes information under its own terms, privacy policy, security practices, and account settings. Jira administrators control Jira access, permissions, work item security, and app installation for their Atlassian site.
Users should review their organization’s Atlassian policies and Atlassian’s applicable privacy documentation.
6. Information Sharing
Careomeus does not currently share Jira content processed by Coremeus with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- Protect the security, rights, or property of Careomeus, users, Atlassian customers, or others
- Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of applicable agreements
- Work with professional advisers or service providers that are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations
The current development build does not include external service-provider integrations for storage, analytics, or artificial intelligence processing.
7. Data Retention
The current development build does not maintain a separate external database of Jira work item content or user personal data.
Information retrieved from Jira is processed as needed to provide the requested App experience. Limited browser-based preferences may remain until the user clears browser storage or the App removes or changes those preferences.
Atlassian may retain information in accordance with its own platform policies and the customer organization’s Atlassian configuration.
8. Security
Careomeus uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the development stage of the App.
Coremeus is designed to:
- Operate with least-privilege Jira access
- Use the signed-in user’s Jira permissions
- Avoid revealing restricted work items to unauthorized users
- Separate live Jira data from demonstration data
- Avoid unnecessary external data transfer
- Present safe error responses that do not intentionally disclose whether a restricted work item exists
No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure. The App remains under development and should not yet be treated as production-ready.
9. Personal Data Requests
Because the current development build does not maintain a separate external store of user personal data, Careomeus may have limited or no independently stored user information to access, correct, or delete.
For questions or requests concerning information handled by Coremeus, contact Careomeus using the information below. Requests concerning Atlassian account data or Jira data controlled by an organization should also be directed to the relevant Atlassian administrator or Atlassian, as appropriate.
10. Children’s Privacy
Coremeus is a business software product and is not directed to children. Careomeus does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current development build.
11. Changes to This Notice
Careomeus may update this Privacy Notice as Coremeus changes.
A revised notice will be required before or when Coremeus introduces material changes such as:
- Forge or external storage

- User profiles or account-linked preferences
